You’re probably doing a lot of writing right now. It’s well into the semester, papers are due, and you’ve probably spent plenty of late nights at the library. This month the Campus Crossings at Raleigh is highlighting the benefits of writing everyday. Writing everyday might be the last thing you want to do — you’re already spending so much time writing for class — but writing has surprising benefits. We’ll go over a few of those benefits, and a few apps to help you start writing, in this post.
In this post, the Campus Crossings at Raleigh Blog is highlighting three exhibits being featured at the North Carolina Museum of History this month. North Carolina has a rich and interesting history. Learning more about it can be exciting. These exhibits feature photographs and art that celebrate, not only North Carolina history, but American history.
If you’re looking for a fun way to decorate your apartment, start at the beginning — of your apartment that is! Decorating your door is a fun way to make a statement and show your festive side before your friends even step into Campus Crossings at Raleigh apartment.
It’s no secret that sometimes we don’t have time for breakfast. Between classes, studying, and trying to take advantage of all sleep we can, sometimes we forget the most important meal. With a few ingredients, including some seasonal ones, you can whip up this yummy breakfast the night before! These ingredients can be easily found at any local grocery store and can also be bought in bulk. Saving time and money on breakfast saves money for fun dinners with friends or drinks on the weekend! Plan ahead and you will be sure to have time for this meal as well as those few precious extra minutes of sleep.
Students all over Raleigh are back in the classroom after a summer spent in the sun, and the classroom brings, of course, an onslaught of required reading that is significantly more dense than summertime beach novels. Not to fear, the Campus Crossings at Raleigh Blog has pulled together a list of reading strategies to help you conquer your assigned reading.
This month the Campus Crossings at Raleigh Blog has focused on reading. In our last blog post, we did a rundown of tips for successfully powering through assigned reading. For today’s blog post, we thought we would share some lighter reading material. Head over to Amazon.com, the Raleigh branch of the Wake County Public Library, or to our nearest bookstore to get a copy of one of these delightful books.
Need a nice study break? Visit the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, NC to relax and to look at one of the best art collections in the state. You won’t regret spending an afternoon at the Museum, especially considering that most of the exhibits are free! Welcome to the Campus Crossings at Raleigh Blog. We are excited to share blog posts about our apartment community, Raleigh, NC, local events, and apartment living topics and tips. We will include tips for campus living, and what’s going on with our NC State University, Wake Technical Community College and Meredith College. We will probably throw in some history about the area, including fun facts and quirky bits and pieces that are unique to the city. We will serve up recipes for your barbeque grill, crock pot, or oven, and perhaps picnic or date night food fare. We may review local businesses, so feel free to send us suggestions about your favorite places to eat, shop, and play. It will be fun! Check back often to see what’s happening on the blog. To start with, we will highlight our apartment community!
